Greetings All Saints of God:
If you are like us, you get excited when positive images of African American males can be seen on the big screen, which is why we’re excited about our new film RED TAILS, the first action-adventure feature film based on the stories of the Tuskegee Airmen. One of the reasons we are proud to participate in RED TAILS, which opens in theaters on Friday, January 20, 2012, is because it shows our youth that it is cool to be intelligent, honorable, trustworthy, principled, and godly.
The youth and adults in our congregation will get a kick out of seeing our film RED TAILS, and witnessing men in their late teens and early 20s, who openly love God, and bond with their fellow airmen, while fighting the war against fascism and racism. RED TAILS is that rare film that sparks viewers of all ages to cheer, laugh, cry, and walk away with a renewed sense of pride and confidence.
For these reasons we ask that you expose the youth in your congregation to RED TAILS by taking the following actions:
- Arrange a youth outing and purchase group tickets for opening weekend, January 20, 2012, by going to www.teamredtails.com.
- Announce the RED TAILS opening date (January 20, 2012) in your church bulletin on Sunday, January 15, 2012.
- Download the FREE Faith Discussion Guide and distribute to your youth ministers and congregation.
- Send an email to your colleagues asking them to do the above.
Lastly, we’d like to thank you for your willingness to spread the word about our film RED TAILS and for your ongoing commitment to deliver positive messages and set positive examples for our youth.
Continued Blessings,
